Aikido and Aikijujutsu

Based on traditional Jujutsu such as Daito Ryu, Takenouchi Ryu, Shibukawa Ryu, Yoshin Ryu, Yanagi Ryu, Yagyu Shingan Ryu, and Ueshiba Aikido, Hirai's Korin Kai Ryu Aikido, the viable eclectic training curriculum of Aikido and Aikijujutsu is offered in the Chishin Ryu Heiho. Students are focusing on unarmed defensive skills using Aiki principles, Aiki breathing and Aiki spirit.

Practice involves efficient and effective energy configurations and dynamics using Taisabaki (body dynamics) and Ashisabaki (foot dynamics) and Kensabaki (sword dynamics). Kokyu (breathing) principle and Tenshin (body dynamics) are the foundational skills dimension as well as Zaho drills, Jo to Ken no Rigo, principles of Jo and sword are also stressed for advanced students. Students focus on the total development, mind, body and spirit of themselves through Aiki harmony and dynamics.
